1. Coagulation is the 3rd step of hemostasis. The coagulation phase can also be broken down into 3 phases. What is the goal of each stage?
2. Where are prothrombin and fibrinogen made? Are they present in plasma all of the time or only when hemostasis is triggered? Why is this important? (hint there are 2 reasons why this is important.)
3. Explain the functions of thrombin.
